ÖZETYüksek Lisans Tezi, Resim İndeksleme Ve Benzerlik Çıkarım Metotları, T.C.Trakya Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Bilgisayar Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı.Günümüzde birçok bilgisayar uygulamasında resim depolama, işleme vesorgulama işlemleri önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Depolanan ve işlenen resim sayısındakiartış, bu alanda daha etkin çalışan sistemlerin geliştirilmesini zorunlu kılmıştır.Resimlerin içeriği hakkında bilgi veren, resimlerin içersindeki nesneler arasındakiuzaysal ilişkileri tespit ederek bu bilgiler üzerinden sorgulama yapabilen sistemlerinhızlı bir şekilde çalışması için, resim indeksleme yöntemleri geliştirilmiştir. Özellikletıp, astronomi, meteoroloji alanında etkin olarak kullanılan yöntemler sonucunda eldeedilen bilgiler, bu alanlarda kritik kararların alınmasında etkin rol oynamaktadır.Bu çalışmada; mevcut olan resim indeksleme ve benzerlik çıkarım metotlarıincelenmektedir. Resim veritabanı sistemlerinin genel yapısı, resim indekslemeyöntemleri, nesneler arasındaki benzerlikler hakkında bilgi verilmektedir.Bu tez 2006 yılında yapılmıştır ve 93 sayfadan oluşmaktadır.ANAHTAR KELİMELER: Resim veritabanı sistemleri, Uzaysal ilişkiler,Nesneler arasındaki benzerlikler, Sembolik resim

Because of the increase in stored and processed imagesthere is a need for developing an effective system. For improving performance ofsystems that gives information about content of images, collecting and queryingtopological relations of objects in images,a series of image indexing methods aredeveloped. Information gathered from techniques that are used especially in medicine,astronomy, meteorology have an efficient part in making critical decisions.In this work, previous image indexing and similarity retrieval methods areexemined.
