Özet
Bu çalışmada Cebir ve Sayılar Teorisinde önemli yere sahip iki temel konuda çalışılmıştır. Bunlardan birincisi Değerlendirmeler ve Değerlendirmelerin Genişlemeleri, ikincisi de Değerlendirilmiş Gruplardır. I. Bölümde Değerlendirmeler ve Cisimler ile ilgili gerekli bilgiler verilmiştir. II. Bölümde Değerlendirmelerin rankları incelenmiş ve bir K cisminin değerlendirmelerinin K(x) cismine cebirsel ve transandant genişlemeleri ele alınmıştır. III. Bölüm Değerlendirilmiş Gruplar ile ilgili olup, bir grup üzerinde bir değerlendirmenin nasıl tanımlandığı incelenmiş ve bazı özel değerlendirilmiş gruplara yer verilmiştir.
In this work, it is aimed to research in two important subjects of Algebra and Number Theory. The first subject is Valuation Theory and the second one is Valuated Groups In chapter I, pertinent background on Valuations and Field Extensions is given. In chapter II, the ranks of valuations are studied. Then the transcendental and algebraic extensions of valuations on K to K(x) are given. In chapter III, Valuated Groups are studied. In this chapter valuations on groups and certain special valuated groups are investigated.
