dc.description.abstractBeş asır boyunca Balkanlarda hüküm süren Osmanlı, İslam dini ilebirlikte Ehl-i sünnet merkezli itikadın da bu bölgelerde yerleşmesinisağlamıştır. Yaygın olarak açılmış olan mektep ve medreseler Osmanlı ilimgeleneğine uygun olarak eğitim veriyordu. Bu şekilde halkın temel dini eğitimisağlanırken aynı zamanda bu alanda çalışacak kadroların da yetiştirilmesihedeflenmekteydi. Dînî konularda derinleşmek isteyenler ise eğitimleriniİstanbul?un ilim merkezlerinde devam etmekteydiler. Osmanlı’nın bu bölgelerden uzaklaşması ile birlikte kendi başına kalanalimler kişisel çabalarıyla bu düzeni devam ettirmeye gayret ettiler. Anavatanile bağların kopmasıyla birlikte eğitim için farklı ilim merkezlerini tercihedenler de oldu. Bu dönemde İslâm coğrafyasının farklı merkezlerinde neşv-ünemâ bulan yeni anlayışlar Balkanlar’a da taşınmış oldu. Bu bağlamda C.Efganî-M. Abduh-R, Rıza çizgisinin vücut verdiği modernist eğilimlianlayışların Balkanlar’a taşınmasında etkili olan isimlerden biri de HüseyinCozo idi. Diğer taraftan ise Osmanlı ilim geleneğinde yetişmiş olan ulemâ’danKemal Aruçi gibi bazıları bu yeni fikirlere karşı çıkmıştır. Makalemizde ele alacağımız Kemal Aruçi’nin “Bir Âyet-i Kerîmenin GlasnikDergisinde Yazılmış İndî ve Hakikate Tercüman Olmayan Bir TefsiriMünasebetiyle Bir Cevap” başlıklı yazı hem bu mücadeleye bir örnek teşkiletmesi hem de tevarüs edilen ilmî geleneğe dair fikir vermesi bakımından önemlibir belge olarak elimizde bulunmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe Ottoman Empire that governed the Balkansfor five centuries promoted both Islam and Itikad centered with Ehli Sunnet.Those mekteps (Ottoman schools) and madrasahs opened during the Ottoman timesprovided Ottoman type of education. Thus, not only primary religious educationof people were satisfied but also religious elite of the future were provided.Those who aimed to develop the level of their religious education had to moveto Istanbul and enroll to higher educational centers. After the Ottoman administration, thosein former Ottoman lands tried to continue the abovementioned system bythemselves on personal basis. As their links with the motherland were cut, someof the ulema chose destinations for higher religious education other thanIstanbul. As a result, in this period, new understandings about Islam weretransferred from different parts of the Islamic world to the Balkans. In thisrespect, the modernist understanding of Islam, pioneered by C. Efgani - M.Abduh - R. Riza, was transferred to the Balkans. Huseyin Cozo is one of the leadingfigures of this transfer of understanding. On the other hand, some ulema withtraditional educational background of the Ottomans, such as Kemal Aruci,contradicted to the above-mentioned new ideas of the modernist understanding. This article which focuses on “Bir Âyet-i KerîmeninGlasnik Dergisinde Yazılmış İndî ve Hakikate Tercüman Olmayan Bir TefsiriMünasebetiyle Bir Cevap” of Kemal Aruci not only constitutes an example to theaforementioned controversy but also a significant document of tradition ofeducation inherited from the Ottomans.en_US
