Abstract
Bu tezde, yüksek-spin oktahedral Co(II) bileşiklerinde metal-ligand bağının karakterini belirlemek için kovalensi faktörünü, spin-orbit çiftlenim sabiti ile birlikte göz önüne aldık. Yüksek-spin oktahedral Co(II) bileşiklerinin geometrisindeki eksenel bozulma parametresini de hesaba katarak manyetik alınganlık ve manyetik moment değerlerini hesapladık. Orbital indirgeme faktörünün manyetik alınganlık ve manyetik moment üzerine etkisini tartışarak literatürdeki diğer çalışmalarla karşılaştırdık.
Abstract
In this thesis, we considered the covalancy factor together with the spin-orbit coupling constant in order to determine the properties of the metal-ligand bonds for the high-spin octahedral Co(II) complexes. We also computed the magnetic susceptibility and the magnetic moment values by considering the axial distortion parameter for the high-spin octahedral Co(II) complexes. The orbital reduction factor effect on the magnetic susceptibility and magnetic moment was also discussed and the results compared with literature.
