Özet
Uganda, ortalama yaşı 16.7 genç nüfusu olmasına rağmen (world meters, 2020), Uganda halkı COVID-19 pandemisinden daha, zayıf sağlık hizmeti altyapısı ve düşük klinisyen-nüfus oranları, oldukça sınırlı laboratuvar kapasitesi, yetersiz beslenme, anemi, HIV / AIDS, tüberküloz ve hava kirliliğine bağlı kronik solunum rahatsızlıkları gibi altta yatan koşullar nedeniyle kötü etkilenmiştir.Bu makalenin amacı Uganda’daki COVID-19 mücadelesinde karşlaştığı sistemsel zorlukları ortaya koymaktır.
Although Uganda has a young population with an average age of 16.7 years (world meters, 2020), Ugandans are more vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic due to poor healthcare infrastructure, low clinician-population ratios, very limited laboratory capacity, malnutrition, anemia, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and other underlying conditions such as chronic respiratory ailments due to air pollution.The aim of this paper is to reveal the systemic challenges faced in the fight against COVID-19 by the Uganda health system.
