Özet
Bu çalışma ile ülkemiz mimarlık ortamına, `Modern Mimarlık' üzerine bir kaynak sunulması hedeflenmektedir. Buradan hareketle Modern Mimari'de iç-dış ilişkisinin incelenmesine ve değerlendirilmesine yönelik olarak, Modern Mimarlık ve bu döneme ait örnekler ele alınmaktadır. Çalışma yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır:Birinci bölümde; çalışmanın amacı, önemi, kapsamı ve yöntemi vurgulanmaktadır.İkinci bölümde; çalışmada sözü geçen ve özellikle dilimizde anlam karmaşasına yol açan modern, modernlik, modernleşme, modernizm kavramları açıklanmaktadır.Üçüncü bölümde; Modern Mimari'ye açıklık getirmek amacıyla Modern Mimari'nin oluşumunda ve gelişiminde rol oynayan faktörlerden söz edilmektedir.Dördüncü bölümde; Modern Mimari'deki ideolojik yaklaşımlar ele alınarak dönem mimarlarının tasarım yaklaşımları, mimariye bakış açıları, manifestolar ve bunlara bağlı olarak gelişen mimarlık ortamı incelenmektedir.Beşinci bölümde; mimaride iç-dış ilişkisi kavramı açıklanmakta ve tarihsel süreçte mimarideki iç-dış ilişkisi irdelenmektedir.Altıncı bölümde; Modern Mimari'nin -Modern Mimarlık yaklaşımlarından ya da modern mimarlardan birinin- temsilcisi kabul edilen bina örnekleri incelenerek Modern Mimari'de iç-dış ilişkisi değerlendirilmektedir.Yedinci bölüm ise sonuçları ve önerileri kapsamaktadır.Ağustos 2010'da tamamlanan bu çalışma 258 sayfadan oluşmaktadır.Anahtar kelimeler: Modern Mimari, 20. In this study, it is aimed to present resources on `Modern Architecture? to our country?s architectural media. Keeping this in mind, in this thesis study, some samples belonging to this period are examined for the analysis and evaluation of interior-exterior relationship in Modern Architecture,In the first chapter; the aim, importance, scope and methods of the study are emphasized.In the second chapter; the concepts mentioned in the study such as modern, modernity, modernization and modernism which cause ambiguity in our language are explained and discussed.In the third chapter; in order to clarify the notion of Modern Architecture, some factors that have significant roles in the constitution and development of Modern Architecture are addressed.In the fourth chapter; the ideological understandings in Modern Architecture are discussed; in addition, the design approaches of the modern architects and their proposals about architecture, manifestos, and architectural atmosphere that have been flourished by such factors are examined.In the fifth chapter; the concept of interior-exterior relationship in architecture is explained, and the historical process of this relationship is discussed.In the sixth chapter; some sample buildings as the representatives of Modern Architecture ?either built by one of the modern architects or built in accordance with the paradigms of Modern Architectural approaches? are examined; and in this sense, interior-exterior relationship in Modern Architecture is evaluated.In the seventh chapter; the results and suggestions are discussed.This study which was completed in August, 2010 is composed of 258 pages.Keywords: Modern Architecture, 20th Century Architecture, interior-exterior relationship, form, function, transparency, modern, ideology
