Özet
Özet İnternet ağların ağı olarak aylık %10'luk bir gelişme gösterirken "İnternet, Bileşenleri Ve Türkiye'deki Durumu Üzerine Bir Çalışma" olarak adlandırlan bu yüksek lisans tezinde, aşağıda belirtilen konular incelenmiş ve belirli bir sonuca varılmaya çalışılmıştır. İncelenen konular şunlardır: öncelikle İntemet'in tanımı yapılarak genel kavramlar aktarılmış, İnternet'in ilk ortaya çıkışından günümüze kadar tarihçesi verilerilmiştir. Buna paralel olarak Türkiye'deki İnternet'in gelişimi alt yapı oluşumu ve üniversite çevrelerindeki kullanım geçmişi araştırılmıştır. Daha sonra bölümlerde İnternet'in bu düzeyde gelişimine en önemli katkısı olan TCP/IP protokolünün yapısı ve bileşenleri incelenerek örneklemeler verilmiştir. Daha sonra İnternet'in en önemli servisleri E-mail, FTP, Gopher WAIS ve WWW temel özellikleri ve olanakları incelenmiştir. İnternet'in genel olarak güvenlik sorunu ile ilgili bilgiler verilmeye çalışılmıştır. İnternet'in gelişim çizgisi içerisinde ortaya çıkan yeni görüş ve yaklaşımlar sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmaların sonucunda İnternet'in önemi ve gelecek için getireceği faydalar ve yapılması gerekli olan tutumları belirten bir sonuç ile bu çalışma tamamlanmıştır.
Abstract The internet, the global network of networks, is the subject of the this thesis. A hot topic of discussion in all the media, the internet has been transforming itself over the past several years from a goverment funded research and education network into a general purpose communications tool that will offer new opportunities for all kind of businesses. The number of commercial users of the internet has been growing by as much as 10% per month. And also internet creates the new opportunity for the research and education entities. This thesis would be tried to study of the internet has been growing and understand of the internet components which are the protocol is called TCP/IP and the most important services (E-mail, FTP, Gopher, WWW). The effect of the internet should be caused that improvement of the education and commercial of Turkey as much as near future. Ill
