| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı, COVID-19’un çalışan hemşireler üzerindeki psikolojik etkilerini tespit etmektir. COVID-19, ilk olarak 2019 yılı aralık ayının başında, Çin'in Wuhan bölgesinde görülüp tüm dünyaya yayılan insanlarda solunum yolu enfeksiyonuna neden olan bulaşıcı viral bir hastalıktır. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü 11 Mart 2020'de pandemi ilan etmiştir. Salgının kontrol altına alınması açısından sosyal karantina prosedürleri uygulanmıştır. COVID-19 salgınının toplumda korku, kaygı, öfke gibi duyguları tetiklediği, stresi arttırdığı, TSSB (travma sonrası stres bozukluğu), kaygı, depresyon, uykusuzluk, intihar düşünceleri gibi psikolojik rahatsızlıklara yol açtığı görülmektedir. Hemşireler pandemi döneminde hastalara fiziksel olarak bakım sağlamış ve bu nedenle de enfeksiyon ajanlarına doğrudan maruz kalmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Depresyon Anksiyete Stres Ölçeği, Durumluk-Süreklilik Kaygı Envanteri (STAI FORM TX1 VE TX2), ve COVID-19 pandemisinin hemşirelerin ruh sağlığı üzerindeki etkisini belirleme anketi Eylül 2021- Eylül 2022 tarihleri arasında, Trakya Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Uygulama ve Araştırma Hastanesi`nde çalışan hemşirelere uygulanmıştır. Çalışma verilerini analiz etmek için SPSS 24.0 programı kullanılmıştır. Pandemi döneminde görev yapan hemşirelere uygulanan anket ve ölçeklerin sonuçlarına göre hemşirelerde anksiyete depresyon ve stres düzeyleri yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. COVID- 19 döneminde çalışan hemşirelerin psikolojik durumlarının anlaşılması, gelecekte yaşanması olası pandemilerde sağlık sektörü çalışanları için alınacak önlemlerin oluşturulmasına ve yapılacak benzer çalışmalara katkı sağlayacaktır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to determine the psychological effects of COVID-19 on working nurses. COVID-19 is a contagious viral disease that first appeared in the Wuhan region of China at the beginning of December 2019 and spreads to the whole world, causing respiratory tract infection in people. The World Health Organization declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Social quarantine procedures have been applied to control the epidemic. It is seen that the COVID-19 epidemic triggers emotions such as fear, anxiety, anger in the society, increases stress, and causes psychological disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and suicidal thoughts. Nurses provided physical care to patients during the pandemic period and therefore were directly exposed to infectious agents. In this study, The Depression Anxiety Stress Scale, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI FORM TX1 AND TX2), and the questionnaire to determine the impact of the COVID19 pandemic on nurses' mental health were applied to nurses working at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, Practice and Research Hospital between September 2021 and September 2022. SPSS 24.0 program was used to analyze the study data. According to the results of the questionnaires and scales applied to the nurses working during the pandemic period, it was determined that the anxiety, depression, and stress levels were high in the nurses. Understanding the psychological state of nurses working during the COVID-19 period will contribute to the constitution of precautions to be taken for health sector workers and similar studies to be carried out in possible future pandemics. | en_US |
