dc.description.abstractİçinde yaşadığımız dünyanın giderek dijitalleştiğiçağımızda, teknolojide yaşanan gelişmelerin eğitim alanında da yansımalarınıgörmek kaçınılmazdır. Geleneksel yabancı dil öğretim yöntemlerinin moderneğitim anlayışının gerektirdiği iletişim ve teknoloji ihtiyaçlarını karşılamadayetersiz oluşu, teknoloji destekli yabancı dil öğretim malzemeleri ve öğrenmeortamları ile yeni yaklaşım ve yöntemlerin geliştirilmesini zorunlu kılmıştır.Yaşam boyu öğrenme becerilerinin tartışıldığı eğitim dünyasında sınıf içinde vesınıf dışında teknoloji ile desteklenmiş öğrenme ortamları oluşturulmasınınsayısız yararlar sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Teknolojiye olan düşkünlükleriylebilinen “z kuşağı” öğrencilerin ihtiyaç duydukları etkileşimli dil öğrenmeortamları, sahip oldukları teknolojik araçlar da göz önünde bulundurulduğunda,“ağ günlükleri” olarak da bilinen bloglar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Buçalışma, blog şeklinde teknolojik tabanlı bir sınıf dışı öğrenme ortamınınyabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğrenenlerin okumaya karşı tutumları üzerindekietkisini araştırmaktadır. Çalışma, B2 düzeyinde Türkçe öğrenen 52 yabancı uyrukluöğrencinin katılımıyla yürütülmüştür. Sekiz haftalık planlanan bu araştırmakapsamında araştırmacı tarafından özgün bir blog sitesi tasarlanmış, hazırlananiçerik bir ders dışı etkinlik olarak uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin okumayayönelik tutumlarının saptanması amacıyla, çalışma öncesi ve çalışma sonrasındaokuma tutum ölçeği uygulanarak elde edilen veriler nicel yöntemlerle analizedilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları, öğrencilerin okumaya yönelik tutumlarındauygulama sonunda pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir değişim olduğunu göstermiştir. en_US
dc.description.abstractInour age, in which the world is digitalized day by day, it is inevitable to seethe reflections of technological developments in the field of education. Sincetraditional foreign language teaching methods are inadequate to meet thecommunication and technology needs of modern education system, technologysupported foreign language teaching materials and learning environments and newapproaches and methods have to be developed. It is thought that the creation oflearning environments supported by technology within the classroom and outsidethe classroom is considered to provide numerous benefits in the education worldwhere lifelong learning skills are discussed. The interactive language learningenvironments needed by the "Generation Z" students, known for theirindulgence in technology, are emerging as blogs, also known as "webdiaries", when the technological opportunities they have are taken intoconsideration. This study investigates the effectiveness of a blog-basedout-of-class learning environment on the attitudes of Turkish as a foreignlanguage students towards reading. Thestudy was conducted with the participation of 52 foreign students learningTurkish in B2 level. Within the scope of this eight-week planned study, a blogpage was designed by the researcher and the prepared content was applied as anextracurricular activity. In order to determine the students' attitudes towardsreading, the data obtained by applying reading attitude scale before and afterthe study were analyzed by quantitative methods. The results of showed thatthere was a significant positive change in the students' attitudes towardsreading by the end of the study.en_US
