Halim ORTA 1999, Sayfa 60 Jüri: Doç.Dr.A.Halim ORTA Prof.Dr.A.Nedim YÜKSEL Prof.Dr.Osman YILDIRIM Trakya Üniversitesi Tekirdağ Ziraat Fakültesi deneme alanında 1997 ve 1998 yıllarında yapılan bu çalışmada, soğanın kuru ve sulu koşullardaki verim ve verim öğelerinin eldesi, sulama zamanının planlanması, bitki su tüketiminin belirlenmesi ve yöre koşullarına en uygun bitki su tüketimi tahmin eşitliğinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Denemede, sulamalara 40 cm etkili kök derinliğindeki kullanılabilir su tutma kapasitesinin % 30, % 50, % 70'i tüketildiğinde başlanmış, uygulama damla sulama yöntemi ile yapılmıştır. Dikkate alman şahit konuya ise deneme süresince hiç sulama suyu uygulanmamıştır. Bunun yanında, yaklaşık on günlük periyotlarda toprak neminin azalması yöntemine göre bitki su tüketimi değerleri ölçülmüştür. Ölçülen bitki su tüketimi değerleri ile feklı yöntemlerle hesaplanan referens bitki su tüketimi değerleri karşılaştınlmıştır. Sonuçta, sulamanın ve sulamaya başlanacak nem düzeyinin soğan verimini etkilediği, en yüksek verimin kullanılabilir su tutma kapasitesinin % 30'u tüketildiğinde sulamaya başlanan konudan, en düşük verimin ise şahit konudan elde edildiği saptanmıştır. Gerek sulu ile kuru konular, gerekse sulama konulan arasında verim ve verim öğeleri açısından istatistiksel olarak önemli farklılık ortaya çıkmış, ancak, kuru madde miktarları arasında fark gözlenmemiştir. En yüksek verimin elde edildiği önerilen konuda, mevsimlik bitki su tüketimi değeri ortalama 419.9 mm olmuştur. Deneme konulan için en uygun referens bitki su tüketimi tahmin eşitliğinin Jensen-Haise olduğu saptanmış ve bu yönteme ilişkin bitki katsayısı kg eğrisi hazırlanmıştır. The aims of this study were to obtain yield and yield components, irrigation scheduling, evapotranspiration for onion under irrigation and no irrigation conditions. Irrigation water was applied at soil water depletion fractions of 0.30, 0.50 and 0.70 into root depth of 0.40 m, by drip irrigation method. In addition, evaporation values were measured for about 10 days periods during the whole growing season. The measured evapotranspiration values were compared with the reference evapotranspiration values calculated by different estimation equation. As a result, it was found that bulb yield was affected by irrigation and soil water depletion fractions. The highest bulb yield was obtained at the plots when irrigation water was applied at soil water depletion fraction of 0.30, and moreover, all yield components were maximum at plots mentioned above but dry matter at bulb was not affected under different experiment statistically. The seasonal evapotranspiration was measured as 419.9 mm at the plots in which the highest yield was obtained. The most suitable estimation method for onion evapotranspiration in Tekirdağ conditions was the Jensen-Haise method and a curve of ko crop coefficent was prepared.
