| dc.description.abstract | Bu tezin amacı, Yunanistan'ın Batı Trakya bölgesinde bulunan Gümülcine (Komotini) kentindeki mübadele konutlarının karakteristik özelliklerini incelemektedir. Lozan Sözleşmesi sonucunda Türkiye ile Yunanistan arasında zorunlu nüfus mübadelesinin gerçekleşmesi ile insanların yaşadıkları mekan ve yerleşim yerlerinden koparılarak yeni bir yaşam tarzına tabii tutulmuşlardır. Yoğun göç nedeniyle barınma ihtiyacına çözüm getirmek için Yunanistan'ın farklı bölgelerine mübadele konutları inşa edilirken, Gümülcine kentinde de 1922-1925 yılları arasında konutlar yapılmıştır. Mübadele konutlarının tasarımı, cephe ve fiziksel özellikleri detaylı biçimde incelenmiştir. Birinci bölümde, konuya giriş yapılarak araştırmanın amacı, yöntemi ve çalışma sırasında izlenen yol belirtilmektedir. İkinci bölümde, mübadelenin tarihsel süreci, Mimari gelişimi, Emval-i Metruke kanunu ve Mübadele döneminde kurulan Komisyonlar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, Gümülcine (Komotini) kentinin tarihi süreci, nüfusu, ekonomisi, kültürel yapısı, fiziki kent dokusu ve kentin gelişimi ele alınmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde, tezin çalışmasını oluşturan ve kentin üç farklı bölgesinde bulunan mübadele konutlarının tarihi, yerleşim yapısı, fiziksel kent dokusu, konutların plan, cephe ve fiziksel özellikleri incelenmiştir. İzin verilen konutların karakteristik özellikleri tablolara işlenmiştir. | dc.description.abstract | The aim of this is to study the characteristic features of the buildings built during the period of the resettlement in the Western Thracian city of Komotini in Greece. As a result of the Treaty of Lausanne an obligatory population exchange took place between Turkey and Greece and people were forced to leave their homes and settlements in order to begin a new living somewhere else. In consequence of the intense immigration resettlement housings were built in different regions of Grecce to meet the needs for sheltering. In the city of Komotini these buildings were constructed between the years 1922 and 1925. In this thesis the design, the appearance and the physical features of these population exchange housings were investigated in detail. In the first section, as an introduction to the topic, the aim of the research, its method and the way, which was followed during the study, are explained. In the second section, information is provided about the historical period of the resettlement, its Architectural development, the Emval-I Metruke law and the commissions which were founded during this period. In the third section, the historical development of the city Komotini, its population, its economy, its cultural structure, the physical structure of the city and ist improvement are taken into consideration. In the fourth section, which is the main study of this thesis, the history of the resettlement buildings, which are located in three different parts of the city, their settlement structure, the physical structure of the city, the maps, appearance and the physical features of the buildings are focused on. The characteristic features of the hosuings for which permission was given, were processed on tables.
