II ÖZET İzooktan çözeltisinden doymuş yağ asidlerinin (miristik, palmitik ve stearik) ve doymamış yağ asidlerinin (oleik, linoleik ve linolenik) antep fıstığı kabuğu, zeytin. çekirdeği, pirinç kabuğu ve fındık kabuğu külü üzerindeki adsorpsiyonu incelendi ve adsorpsiyon izoterminin de Langmuir izotermine uyduğu belirlendi. Langmuir adsorpsiyon izotermine göre çizilen düzgün doğruların eğimleri sayesinde tek tabaka kapasitesi (qm) değerleri bulundu. Antep fıstığı kabuğu külü üzerinde diğer küllere nazaran en yüksek tek tabaka kapasitesi değerleri elde edildi. Bu kül üzerinde tek tabaka kapasitesi (qm) değerleri, miristik asid, palmitik asid, stearik asid, oleik asid, linoleik asid ve linolenik asid için sırası ile 24.5679, 36.2178, 43.0532, 23.5962, 15.5036 ve 8.7862 mg/g olarak tayin edildi. Bu nedenle, yağ asidlerinin adsorpsiyonu için antep fıstığı kabuğu külünün diğer küllerden daha uygun olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. ABSTRACT The adsorption of saturated fatty acids (myristic, palmitic and stearic) and unsaturated fatty acids (oleic, linoleic and linolenic) on pistachio hull, olive stone, rice hull and hazelnut hull ash from isooctane solution was studied and the adsorption isotherm was determined to be conformed to the Langmuir isotherm. The monolayer coverage values (qm) were found by means of the slopes of the straight lines plotted according to the Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The highest monolayer coverage (qm) values were obtained on pistachio hull ash rather than on the other ashes. The monolayer coverage (qm) values for myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid were determined to be 24.5679, 36.2178, 43.0532, 23.5962, 15.5036 ve 8.7862 mg/g, respectively. Therefore, it is seen that pistachio hull ash is more sutiable than other ashes for the adsorption of the fatty acids The adsorption free energy (AG°ads) values for myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid were found to be -6.6587, -6.5436, -6.8186, -6.6282, -6.8366 ve -7.4907 mg/g, respectively. These values are very close to the values between -7 kcal/mol and -6 kcal/mol in the literature.
