| dc.description.abstract | İtalya’da 1999 yılında “yaşamın kolay olduğu kentler ağı” fikriyle ortaya çıkan Cittaslow (Sakin Şehir) kavramı, 2009 yılında Seferihisar (İzmir)’ın bu ağa katılmasıyla Türkiye’de de duyulmuştur. Kentlerin, modern hayatın ihtiyaçlarına karşılık verirken aynı zamanda kültürel, tarihi ve doğal yapısının da korunabilmesi hedefiyle yola çıkan Cittaslow hareketi, hem üyelik sürecinde dikkate alınan, hem de Cittaslow ünvanının sürdürülebilmesi için uyulması gereken 72 kritere sahiptir. Bu kriterler, çevre politikaları, altyapı politikaları, kentsel yaşam politikaları, tarımsal, turistik, esnaf ve sanatkârlara ait politikalar, misafirperverlik, farkındalık ve eğitim için planlar, sosyal uyum ve ortaklıklar başlıkları olmak üzere yedi başlık altında toplanmaktadır. Dünya’da 30 ülkede 252 kent Cittaslow ünvanını taşıyorken, Türkiye’de bu ünvana sahip günümüzde 17 kent bulunmaktadır. Trakya bölgesinde ise, bu ünvana sahip olan tek kent Kırklareli ilinin Vize ilçesidir. 2012 yılında Cittaslow ilan edilen Vize, kültürel yapısı, tarihi dokusu ve doğal güzellikleri ile dikkat çekmektedir. Vize’nin Cittaslow adaylığı sürecinde (2010-2012) ve Cittaslow ilan edildiği 2012 yılından günümüze kadar, kentsel gelişimine katkı sağlayan çok sayıda kentsel tasarım projesi üretilmiştir. Bu sebeple tez çalışmasında, Cittaslow kriterlerinin kentsel tasarıma olan etkisi, Vize özelinde tasarlanan kentsel tasarım projeleri ölçeğinde incelenmektedir. Beş bölümden oluşan bu tez çalışmasının birinci bölümünde, amaç, yöntem ve kapsam belirtilmektedir. İkinci bölümünde, Cittaslow hareketi ve kriterleri açıklanmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümünde, Vize ilçesinin Cittaslow olma süreci ele alınmaktadır. Dördüncü bölümünde, Cittaslow kriterleri çerçevesinde kentsel tasarım projeleri incelenmektedir. Beşinci bölüm, değerlendirme ve sonuç bölümü olup, bu bölümde Cittaslow kriterlerinin Vize’deki kentsel tasarım projelerine etkisi değerlendirilmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The concept of Cittaslow which emerged in Italy in 1999 with the idea of a "network of cities where life is easy”, was also heard in Turkey in 2009 when Seferihisar (Izmir) joined this network. The Cittaslow movement, which set out with the aim of protecting the cultural, historical and natural structure of cities while responding to the needs of modern life, is required to maintain both the title of Cittaslow, which is taken into account in the accession process and has 72 criteria to meet. These criteria include environmental policies, infrastructure policies, urban life policies, policies of agricultural, tourist, artisans and artisans, hospitality, plans for awareness and education, social cohesion and partnerships are collected under the hood. While 252 cities in 30 countries in the world hold the title of Cittaslow, there are 17 cities in Turkey today with this title. In thrace region, the only city with this title is district of Kirklareli province. Vize which was declared Cittaslow in 2012 attracts attention with its cultural structure, historical texture and natural beauties. Since 2012, when Vize was announced in the process of candidacy for Cittaslow (2010-2012), numerous urban design projects have been produced that have contributed to urban development. For this reason, the effect of Cittaslow criteria on urban design is examined on the scale of urban design projects designed specifically for Vize. In the first part of this five-part thesis, the purpose, method and scope are specified. In the second part, cittaslow movement and its criteria are explained. In the third part, the process of becoming Cittaslow of Vize district is discussed. In the fourth part, urban design projects are examined within the framework of Cittaslow criteria. The fifth section is the evaluation and conclusion section, in which the effect of Cittaslow criteria on urban design projects in Vize is evaluated. | en_US |
