Özet
Bu çalışmada Almanca Öğretmenliği Lisans öğrencilerine bir anket uygulanarak, Almanca sözlük kullanım alışkanlıkları araştırılmış, bir sözcüğün okunuşu, yazılış şekli, anlamı, kelime türü, kökü, tarihsel gelişimi, başka unsurlar ile kurduğu sözler, deyimler ve cümle içindeki kullanımları merak edildiğinde ne tür sözlüklerden yararlandıkları sorulmuş, anket çalışması sonucunda elde edilen verilerden hareketle sıklıkla kullanılan sözlükler sınıflandırılarak, bu sözlüklerin benzer ve farklı özellikleri üzerinde durulmuş, sözlüklerin Almancayı yabancı dil olarak öğrenenlerin gereksinimlerini ne ölçüde karşıladığı tartışmaya açılmış ve sözlük okumada beliren sorunların giderilmesi için çözüm önerileri geliştirilmiştir.
In this study, a questionnaire was applied to German Language Teaching undergraduate students and their dictionary usage habits were investigated. The students were asked what kind of dictionaries they look up in for a word when they want to learn pronunciation, written form, meaning, word type, etymology, historical development, words combined with other elements, idioms, and the usage in sentences. Considering the data obtained as a result of the questionnaire, by classifying frequently used dictionaries, similar and different characteristics of them were emphasized and to what extent they meet the needs of the ones who learn German as a foreign language was put under debate and solution proposals were developed in order to solve appearing problems in reading dictionaries.
