Özet
ÖZET Bu deneme 1993 yılı geç ilkbahar- yaz yetiştirme periyodunda, Tekirdağ Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümü'ne ait ısıtılmayan cam serada yapılmıştır. Denemenin amacı, meyve uzunluğu 15 - 20 cm olan Lutra Fi, E7870 Fı, Safaa Fı, Beıth Alpha Fı,LM811 ve LM812 gibi kısa meyveli çeşitlerle, meyve uzunluğu 30 - 40 cm olan Flamingo Fı, LM803 Fı ve LM804 F ı gibi uzun meyveli çeşitleri karşılaştırarak, bunlardan yöremiz şartlarına en uygun olanlarını belirlemekti. Deneme sonuçlarına göre en yüksek verim 6.61 ton / da olarak uzun meyveli LM804Fı' den, en düşük verim ise 3.38 ton / da ile Beıth Alpha Fı'den alınmıştır.
THE COMPARASION OF GROWTH AND YIELD OF SHORT AND LONG FRUITED CUCUMBER CULTIVARS GROWN IN THE COLD GLASSHOUSE SUMMARY This research was made in the late spring summer growing period in the cold glasshouse which belongs to Tekirdağ Agricultural Faculty, Department of Horticulture, in 1993. The aim of the experiment was to compare the short fruited (15-20 cm fruit length) cultivars such as Lutra F1, E7870 F1, Safaa F1, Berth Alpha F1, LM81 1 and LM812 with long fruited (30-40 cm fruit length) cultivar such as Flamingo F1, LM803 F1 and LM804 F1 and to determine the most suitable ones for our region. According to the results of the experiment, the highest yield with 6.61 ton/da was obtained from the long fruited cultivar LM804-Fi and the lowest yield with 3.38 ton/da from the short fruited cultivar Beith Alpha F1.
