The breakup between socialist Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union in 1948 was given the opportunity to create a authentic socialist Yugoslavia. In this period, a new political-cultural agenda was being created, supported by humanistic architecture and urban forms. Instead of a static understanding of architecture and urban compositions, the approach of positioning it on the kinematic idea of adaptable, flexible, productive, uniquely structured urban forms to the future development of the city has come to the fore. Yugoslav architect Andrija Mutnjakovi? (1929-), who produced works in this context, is famous for his futuristic visions and utopian projects of mobile architecture from the 1960s. Mutnjakovi?, who works on both architectural design and urban planning, has also written articles and books on architectural theory and architectural history. In this study, first of all, Andrija Mutnjakovi?'s life, works, worldview and approach to architecture will be explained. Although he is an artist of Croatian origin, the thesis will focus on the architect's contributions to Kosovo architecture and his perspective in the works he created in Kosovo. The connection that the architect establishes with traditional/local architecture while applying his original ideas, his predictions for the future while establishing the old-new relations, and architectural ideology will be discussed as a field of study. As a result, the similarities and contradictions between the spatial perception that the architect aims to create and the spatial perception of the user towards the architect's works are investigated.
