Öğe Calculating the Coordinates of Intersection of the Concentric Circular Arcs with a Line by Means of Approximate Calculation Method and Examining Its Preciseness(Wiley-Blackwell, 2012) Ince, H.In closed places such as cinemas, theaters, and conservatories locating the seats on concentric circular arcs may be required. In this case, defining the coordinates of intersecting points of side walls is needed to calculate the coordinates of seats according to a local coordinate system defined in the hall. Rigorous and approximate calculation methods, which have been applied to calculating the coordinates of intersection points with the concentric circular arcs and a line that is not in the radial direction, have been explained. The influence of the approximate calculation method on the accuracy of the position of intersection points, on a defined numerical model, has been examined in relation to various variables. In the numerical model, the locations of the tip of a line and the intersection point where the first circle arc and this line intersect were considered fixed. The angle values between radial direction passing through the first intersection point and the line passing through the concerned point and the distance along with the circle arcs and radius values of the first arc were considered variables. By taking these factors into consideration, the coordinates of the other intersection points, the differences among the calculated coordinates, and their accuracy of position were calculated by means of rigorous and approximate calculation methods. The graphical representation of the accuracies of the positions found were drawn and analyzed, and the findings and opinions were stated.Öğe Design of a Mechanical Device to Applique the Direction of Cross-Section on Rural Road Projects(Farm Machinery Industrial Research Corp, 2013) Ince, H.The prism is used with the method of rectangular coordinates of the direction of cross-section on a road project. It is difficult to apply the direction of the cross-section in the intermediate point of curve by prism. Currently, the use of an electronic distance measuring to determine the direction of a cross-section both on the horizontal curve and at the alignment is considered to be more accurate and faster in relation to the other available instruments. However, electronic distances measuring are expensive. A simple mechanical device has been designed to apply the direction of the cross- section both in the intermediate point of curve and at the alignment as precise as that in prism. The structure of the mechanical device and its usage has been explained in this study. In addition the precision of the vertical direction was determinated experimentally, a case study concerning with subject has been included.Öğe Determination of dolomite beds by geodesic method and dolomite production in the Thrace region(Scibulcom Ltd, 2008) Uymaz, A. K.; Ince, H.Raw materials such as silicon sand, marble, dolomite, carbonated water and feldspar have. been used in the production of glass, in general. The metal oxides (lead, chromium and iron oxides), silver and glass being ground glass, are used in the production of glass at special conditions. The organisation of glass industry in Turkey began in the period of the Ottoman Empire. The Pasabahce Glass industry located in the Kirklareli province has the largest share in glass production in Turkey. Turkey is of the first five countries in glass production worldwide. The glass industry is producing window glass, glassware, automobile and laboratory glass. The share of the glass industry, as a constituent of the natural industry, is large from the point of view of export and commerce. The geodesic position (coordinates) of dolomite beds, which are an important raw material of glass production, has been the main object of the present study. The geological structure of terrestrial where dolomite beds are located in has been studied, too. The dolomite beds are located in the Istranca's foot of the Thrace region. The hand GPS instrument (receiver) has been used at the determination of geodesic position of dolomite beds. The knowledge about production quantity has been assured from the organisation that is using dolomite and they have been utilised.Öğe Determination of the positions of flood fields and study on effect of flood on soil structure(Scibulcom Ltd, 2007) Ince, H.; Uymaz, A. K.; Erkin, H.The Meric river basin has been exposed to the flood in winter season in the Thrace region. The flood waters and alluvium, which are brought by the flood, cover agricultural fields and these factors affect the composition of the field soil. A map scale is taken into consideration for determining the positions of the fields and areas by geodesic ground control points. This work is based on determining the positions of the flood fields. The points concerning the flood track are taken into consideration for determining the positions of the flood fields. The heights of the points concerning the flood track have been obtained by geometric levelling from known traverse heights. The horizontal coordinates of the points concerning the flood tracks have been measured by a hand GPS instrument (receiver). The soil samples taken from fields, which were not affected by the flood and also which were affected from the flood, have been analysed in various flood fields in the Thrace region. The positions of the flood fields are shown at a map which is scaled 1/25 000, at works done by DSI (The State Water Supply Administration) technical stuff. The results obtained from analysis of the soil examples have been utilised.Öğe The proposal of the building application for more benefiting from solar light(Selcuk Univ Press, 2016) Erdem, N.; Ince, H.There is a proverb, that emphasizes the importance of sunlight for human health, which is Where the sun does not enter the physician enters. It is one of the most important elements to see the sunlight of the buildings for both healthy life and energy saving. The positioning may be desirable to take the advantage of the morning and evening sunlight of the buildings to be constructed in the housing area. Indeed, in 1985 constructed blocks of buildings in Eskisehir Yenikent in public housing projects, designed and applicated according to the this principle. This study was made with the purpose of the application and to be designed to see the sunlight during the day of the blocks will be the method of discrete structures in accordance with the development plan will be built the individual or collective housing project in the Eastern Mediterranean. At the beginning of this study, the azimuth angles were calculated in the sunrise and sunset in four provinces forming region, baseline, throughout the year and annual sun graphics arranged, by meteorological data help received from meteorological stations in the region. Information of sun tanning about the province of Adana was found sufficient to represent the region according to the results of the evaluation. It describes the inning information building design and application in accordance with the principles for provinces in the region at the end of the study.Öğe Study of kirklareli dam and its refining foundation for the drinking water source in the Thrace region(Scibulcom Ltd, 2007) Uymaz, A. K.; Ince, H.[Abstract Not Available]Öğe Water storing for irrigation of agricultural fields from ponds or dams by using wind energy in the thrace region(Scibulcom Ltd, 2007) Becenen, I.; Ince, H.; Karacavus, K.In the Thrace region, the agricultural fields oil flat lands have been irrigated by water with pumps from the open canals. A serious amount of money has been spent for the fuel or for the electric energy to be used for the hydraulic pumps by the farmers, thus increasing the cost of the crops produced by the farmers. Finally, consumers have been affected by the increasing costs negatively. It is necessary to reduce the energy expenses to the minimum in order to lower the consumption expenses and the producing costs, spent by the farmers. This could be provided by the pumps that are run by wind energy instead of using hydraulic pumps on fuel or electricity. These pumps, working by wind energy, and which have no press power, transport the water from a point which has a lower altitude than the higher storing resorvoir. In this work we try to explain the essentials of water storing, being used by wind energy to irrigate any field above the level of a darn or pond. The difference between the highnesses - one is the difference between the fields which will be irrigated and the darn's or pond's level, the other is the difference which occurs from the inclination. The data related to this matter and provided from a lot of research have been studied and declared.
