Genetic algorithm (GA) is used as an optimization technique and genetic operators such as crossover and mutation ratio are changed throughout the optimization process. In the minimization of deflection parameters due to the corresponding stacking sequences, the effect of genetic operators are investigated for various boundary conditions, number of layers and fiber angle increments. A unified shear deformation theory is used in analytical solution. Minimum deflection parameters and corresponding stacking sequences are compared with the analytical solution. The variation of deflection parameters with respect to the number of generation are presented for different crossover and mutation ratios.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessComposite BeamDeflectionGenetic AlgorithmOptimizationLaminated CompositeDesign OptimizationAlgorithmsGENETIC OPERATORS EFFECT ON STACKING SEQUENCE OPTIMIZATIONConference Object277284N/AWOS:000390603400045
