As an application method of these approaches, the integration of green infrastructures with the grey infrastructure has certain processes to follow. This study examines various sustainable urban water management approaches adopted around the world. In addition, it puts forward the ways to be followed in the integration of green infrastructure to the existing and future grey infrastructure, the difficulties encountered during its implementation and the issues that need to be attended. Although there are applications of different scales, in order to perform all applications efficiently, it is necessary to adopt green infrastructure-based approaches, to establish legislative provisions and standards for implementation, to draw up guidelines for the dissemination of practices, and to finance the practices through various support programs. It is anticipated that the widespread use of green infrastructures and the integration of green infrastructure with grey infrastructure will only be achieved with the integration of engineering, planning and design disciplines and the participation of decision makers, financial providers and citizens. © Peter Lang GmbH Internationaler Verlag der Wissenschaften Berlin 2021 All rights reserved.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessGreen Infrastructure; Stormwater Management; Sustainable Urban Water ManagementHow to Integrate Green and Grey InfrustructureBook Chapter2352482-s2.0-85179240949N/A
