Çalışma DN tanısı konmuş 58 hasta (26 kadın, 32 erkek) ve klinik yöntemlerle Tip 2 diyabetes mellitus olduğu belirlenen 55 kontrol ( 43 kadın,12 erkek) üzerinde yapıldı. Spesifik primerler ve polimeraz zincir reaksiyonu (PZR) yöntemleri kullanılarak jel elektroforezinde gözlemlendi. Endotelyal nitrik oksit sentaz 4 a/b genotip frekansları aa, bb, ab için DN grubunda sırasıyla %8,6, %59,7, %27,6 ve kontrol grubunda ise sırasıyla %12,7 , %45,5 %41,8 olarak hesaplandı. Sonuçlar hasta-kontrol grupları ile eNOS 4a/b gen polimorfizimi arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmadığını göstermiştir. Cinsiyet, sigara kullanımı, aile öyküsü ve diyabet süresi DN ile ilişkili risk faktörleri olarak bulundu.In this work, the aim was to assess the relationship between eNOS 4 a/b gene polymorphisms with diabetic nephropathy. The study has been performed on 58 patients (26 Women, 32 Man) and 55 inviduals (43 Women, 12 Man) proven to have Tip 2 DM with clinical diagnosis. The technique will use a polymerase chain reaction and specific primers, followed by gel electrophoresis. The frequencies of eNOS gene 4 a/b genotypes were found to be %8,6 for aa, %59,7 for bb and %27,6 for ab, in the DN group and %12,7 for aa, %45,5 for bb and %41,8 for ab in the control group. The results showed no significant difference between eNOS 4 a/b gene polymorphism with patient-control group.
