Total of 30 female rats (Wistar albino) were divided into two groups. Rh IGF-I was subcutaneusly injected in to rat for 7 days. At the end of the injection period, rats were weighed and cervical dislocation was made, and then m. gastrocnemius was removed from one experiment and one control group rat for each corresponding days to between the 8th, 15th and 22th days. Histological preparations and histometrical measurements were carried out for the muscle samples. In coclusion, rh IGF-I injection increased in both diameter and number of rat gastrocnemius muscle without a statistically significant weight gain.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessMusculus Gastrocinemius; Rat; Rh Igf-IThe effects of recombinant human IGF-I injection on musculus gastrocinemius of rats (Wistar albino)Recombinant human IGF-I (insülin-like growth factor-i) enjeksiyonunun ratlarda (wistar albino) musculus gastrocinemius üzerine etkileriArticle18181862-s2.0-83455200021Q3
