CASE: 35-year-old, gravida 8, para 7 woman was admitted to our clinic on the 22nd gestational week of her pregnancy. In ultrasonographic evaluation anterior placenta, loss of the hypoechoic retroplacental zone, irregular uterine serosa and intraplacental lacunae was detected. Cesarean section was performed due to diagnosis of placenta accreta at the 39th week of gestation. Diagnosis was confirmed clinically during the operation, and with a conservative approach operation was completed without any complications. CONCLUSION: Diagnosis of placenta accreta can be accomplished antenatally according to sonographic findings.
