It is seen in young, sexually active adults and histologically resembles Bowen's disease. Dermoscopy is useful in the diagnosis of both pigmented and non-pigmented skin lesions, but dermoscopic diagnostic accuracy criteria have not yet developed in diseases such as bowenoid papulosis and Bowen's disease.
