Unlike AII, Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) is a well-known international organization in Turkey. Thus BSEC is used as a tool to make a comparison to AII for having similar features like being defined on sea basins, having similar objectives, having some mutual members and witnessing political problems. AII can be considered as a successful organization in terms of reaching the goals that were set out in the founding documents, while BSEC is unsuccessful regarding the same issue.
