Antioxidant activity was assayed by the DPPH radical scavenging activity, total phenol content (TPC) and total flavonoid content (TFC), reducing power assay, ferric thiocyanate (FTC) and thiobarbituric acid method (TBA). Among the extracts, n-hexane and chloroform extract of H. acutiloba displayed more activity than other extracts against ?- amylase and a-glucosidase. © 2019 Parlar Scientific Publications.
