The lines were evaluated with pure-line selection. Morphological characters such as main stem length (cm), number of branches per plant, leaf length (cm), leaf weight (g), leaf/stem ratio, pods/main stem and seeds/pod as well as agricultural green fodder yield (t ha-1), dry matter yield (t ha-1), seed yield (t ha -1), crude protein (%), protein yield (t ha-1) were investigated in Tekirdag (Turkey) during 1997-1999 under dry conditions. The experimental design was a randomized complete block with three replicates. Protein yield (1.33 t ha-1), green fodder yield (27.76 t ha -1), dry matter yield (7.34 t ha-1) and grain yield (2.67 t ha-1) of candidate varieties 16-DY and 16-K were determined to be higher than other lines. According to yield and yield components, the 16-DY and 16-K lines were found to be promising.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAgricultural Characters; Field Pea; Green Fodder Yield; Pisum Arvense L.; Seed YieldAnimalia; Aves; Meleagris Gallopavo; Pisum SativumDetermination of some agricultural characters in field pea (Pisum arvense L.) lines at Tekirda?
