dc.description.abstractBasit ve çoklu regresyon yöntemlerinde, bağımlı değişken Y’ nin koşullu dağılımlarının aynı standart sapmaya sahip olduğunu varsayılır. Regresyonda regresyon katsayılarının anlamlılığı ve güven aralıkları bu varsayıma bağlıdır. Regresyon katsayılarının testi için jacknife ve bootstrap gibi yöntemler kullanılsa bile değişen varyanslılığın söz konusu olması halinde sonuçlar çok hatalı olabilir. İstatistik literatüründe var olan değişen varyans kalıpları genel olarak monoton azalan ya da monoton artan şeklindedir. Buna koşut olarak varyans dengeleme teknikleri de monoton artan ya da azalan varyansı dengelemeye yöneliktir. Bu çalışmada Sivas ili için aylık ortalama havada asılı partiküller madde miktarı, sıcaklık ve kükürt dioksit için modellenerek kelebek dağılan artıklarda değişen varyanslılığın dengelenmesi konusunda istatistik literatürüde mevcut olan temel yöntemler incelenerek karşılaştırılmış ve sonuçlar irdelenmiştiren_US
