Özet
Çalışmanın amacı Türk Dilindeki Fransızca kelimelerin kullanımlarını belirleyip, dilimizi batı kaynaklı kelimelerden arındırma bilincini yaratmaktır. Çalışma, dilimize batı kaynaklı kelimelerin girişinin tarihi ve nedenleri ile dilimizdeki 2 roman, 10 öykü incelenerek, buralardaki Fransızca kelimelerin belirlenmesiyle oluşmuştur. Çalışma için, Türk Dili kitapları ile Türk Dil Kurumu'nun Türkçe'de Batı Kökenli Kelimeler Sözlüğü incelenmiş ve Mustafa Nihat Özön'ün Türkçe-Yabancı Kelimeler Sözlüğü temel alınmıştır.
The aim of this thesis is determining the usage of French words in the Turkish language, and creating an awareness of purification our language from words of west origin. The study includes the date when the words of west origin entered our language and its reasons. Also, 2 novel and 10 story have been analysed to determine French words which take place in novels and stories. Turkish Language books as well as The Dictinonary of The West Origin Words in Turkish Language of Turkish Language Institution have been analysed for the study. Besides, it has been predicated on Turkish - Foreign Words Dictionary which is written by Mustafa Nihat Özön.
