Özet
Sogdiana-Soğd bölgesi, merkez Semerkant olmak üzere İrani halkların ve dillerin yaygın olarak yaşandığı, en geniş manasıyla Amuderya ve Siriderya nehirleri arasında kalan günümüzde ise Kazakistan, Özbekistan ve Tacikistan sınırları içinde yer alan bölgeye verilen addır. Bu bölgede doğu veya batıya hareketle 1877 yılından sonra "İpek Yolu" diye anılan yol vasıtası ile yoğun bir şekilde ticaret yapan Soğdlular yaşamıştır. Varlıkları M.Ö. 6. yy'dan itibaren kaynaklarda ele alınmaya başlayan Soğdlular Çin, İç Moğolistan, Bizans Devletlerinin yanı sıra Hun, Göktürk ve Uygur gibi Türk devletlerine nüfuz etmiş, Orta Asya'da çeşitli koloniler kurmuşlardır. İdari sistemde kendilerine ait bir devlet kur(a)mayan, özgürlüğüne düşkün, Çin kaynaklarında "her nerede kâr varsa oraya giden" olarak tanımlanan bu halk, merkeze bağlı konfederasyonlar şeklinde yönetilmektedir. Tüccarlığın yanı sıra birer diplomat olan bu halkın yönetici zümreleri, siyasi açıdan içine karıştığı Türk toplumunu tatlı dili ile etkilemiştir. Dilleri olan Soğdca Türklerin kültürel hayatına çeşitlilik kazandırmış, inançları olan Zerdüştlük, Budizm, Maniheizm ve Nesturi Hristiyanlık gibi dinler ise Türk devlet adamlarını etkileyerek halk içerisinde yayılma imkânı bulmuştur. Türk siyasi ve kültür tarihini daha iyi anlamak için onlara etki eden Soğdluların tarihini ve kültürünü incelemek bu sebeplerle son derece önemlidir. ABSTRACT The Sogdiana region and its center Semerkant, is the name of the region where Iranian peoples and languages are common, which is located in the borders of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, which is between Amuderya and Siriderya rivers in the widest sense. Sogdians, who moved from this region to the east or west, made an intensive trade on the road known as the "Silk Road" after 1877. Sogdians whose existence has been studied since the 6th century BC, have penetrated into the China, Inner Mongolia, Byzantine states and Turkish states such as, Hun, Gokturk and Uighur established various colonies in Central Asia. The people who do not establish their own state in the administrative system, who are fond of their freedom, who are defined as a "wherever there are profits to make, they go" in the Chinese sources, are managed as confederations linked to the center. In addition to the trade, these people who are diplomats, have influenced the Turkish society in which they have been politically involved with their sweet language. Sogdian whose language is their, brought diversity to the cultural life of the Turks and their religions such as Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Maniheism and Nestorian Christianity have influenced the Turkish statesmen and found its spread in the public. In order to better understand the history of Turkish political and cultural history, it is very important to examine the history and culture of Sogdians who influenced them.
