dc.description.abstractBu tez, görsel kültür bağlamında portre fotoğrafçılığını kapsamlı bir şekilde incelemektedir. Araştırma, fotoğrafçılığın tarihi kökenlerini ve teknik evrimini, özellikle dijital çağın yükselişiyle birlikte gözden geçirir. Çalışma, portre fotoğrafçılığının estetik, teknik ve kültürel yönlerini derinlemesine irdelemekte, dijital teknolojilerin bu sanat formu üzerindeki etkilerini ve yaratıcılık biçimlerindeki dönüşümü tartışmaktadır. Ayrıca, portre fotoğrafçılığının birey ve toplum üzerindeki psikolojik ve sosyal etkileri, görsel anlamlandırma süreçleri ve görsel kültürdeki rolleri ele alınır. Tez, portre fotoğrafçılığının görsel kültür içerisindeki önemini ve bu alanda derinlemesine anlayış geliştirme ihtiyacını vurgular. Bu çalışma, portre fotoğrafçılığının görsel kültürdeki yerini anlamaya ve gelecekteki araştırmalara yön vermek amacıyla, fotoğrafın tarihsel ve teknik evrimini, dijital çağın etkilerini ve bu süreçte portre fotoğrafçılığının estetik, teknik ve kültürel yönlerindeki dönüşümü detaylıca inceliyor. Araştırma, fotoğrafçılığın birey ve toplum üzerindeki psikolojik ve sosyal etkilerini, görsel anlamlandırma süreçlerini ve görsel kültürdeki rollerini ele alıyor ve portre fotoğrafçılığının bu alandaki önemini vurgulayarak gelecekteki araştırmalara katkı sağlamayı hedefliyor.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis thesis comprehensively analyses portrait photography in the context of visual culture. The research reviews the historical origins and technical evolution of photography, particularly with the rise of the digital age. The study explores in depth the aesthetic, technical and cultural aspects of portrait photography, discussing the impact of digital echnologies on this art form and the transformation in forms of creativity. In addition, the psychological and social effects of portrait photography on the individual and society, visual signification processes and their role in visual culture are discussed. The thesis emphasises the importance of portrait photography in visual culture and the need to develop an in-depth understanding of this field. This study examines in detail the historical and technical evolution of photography, the effects of the digital age and the transformation in the aesthetic, technical and cultural aspects of portrait photography in order to understand the place of portrait photography in visual culture and to guide future research. The research addresses the psychological and social effects of photography on the individual and society, visual signification processes and their role in visual culture, and aims to contribute to future research by emphasising the importance of portrait photography in this field.en_US
