Edirne ilinde görev yapan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin liderlik davranışlarının değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı; Edirne ilinde resmi ve özel okullarda görev yapan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin, liderlik davranışlarının bazı demografik değişkenler açısından değerlendirilmesidir.Araştırma evrenini; Edirne il merkezine ve ilçelerine bağlı resmi ve özel okullarda 2010-2011 eğitim öğretim yılında görev yapan beden eğitimi öğretmenleri ile Trakya Üniversitesi Kırkpınar Beden Eğitimi Spor Yüksek Okulu'nda görev yapan öğretim elemanları, oluşturdu. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında Halphin ve Winer (1957) tarafından geliştirilen ve Önal (1979) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan ?Lider davranışı betimleme anketi? esas alınarak, Can (2002) tarafından beden eğitimi öğretmenlerine yönelik uyarlanan anket kullanıldı. Araştırmada, toplanan verilerin (SPSS 20.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak ) frekans, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma, minimum ve maksimum dağılımları tespit edildi. Görev sürelerine göre ve çalıştıkları okul türüne göre olan verilerin karşılaştırılmasında kruskal-wallis testi, ?cinsiyet? durumlarına göre verilerin karşılaştırılmasında mann-whitney u testi, ?ölçeğin güvenirliğini? tespit etmek için de cronbach alfa kullanıldı. Sonuç olarak; Beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin yapıyı kurma ve anlayış gösterme liderlik davranışlarını göstermelerinde görev süresi ve çalıştıkları okul türü değişkeni bakımından anlamlı bir fark bulunamadı (p>0,05). Ancak beden eğitimi öğretmelerinin cinsiyet değişkenine bağlı olarak liderlik davranışlarından yapıyı kurma ve anlayış gösterme boyutlarını sergilemeleri açısından anlamlı bir farka rastlandı (p<0,05).
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the leadership behaviours of the physical education teachers who work in both state and private schools in Edirne according to some demographic variables.The target population of the study consists of physical education teachers who worked in both state and private schools in Edirne city center and its province in 2010-2011 education period and academicians who work at Kırkpınar Physical Education and Sports School of Trakya University. In the collection of the study data, the questionaire adapted to the physical education teachers by Can (2002) based on `Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire? that was developed by Halphin and Winer (1957) and translated into Turkish by Önal (1979) was used. The frequency, percentage, avarage, standard deviation, minimum and maximum range of the data which was collected during the study was calculated by using the SPSS 20.0 statistical programme. In the comparison of the data that was classified as `according to the working period? and `according to the type of the school? kruskal-wallis test , in the comparison of the data that was classified as ?according to gender? mann-whitney u test and to determine ?the reliability of the scale? cronbach alfa were used.As a result; in physical education teachers exhibiting the leadership behaviours of initiating structure and showing consideration, no significant difference could be found in terms of teachers working period and the school type variables. But a significant difference was found according to the gender variable in physical education teachers exhibiting the leadership behaviours of initiating structure and showing consideration
