Capillary telangiectasia is a vascular abnormality primarily of the brainstem. It's real incidence is unknown. This rare condition is of uncertain clinical relevance, its main significance being a potential differential diagnosis or its association with clearly relevant disorders. We report on two cases with capillary telangiectasia and describe magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) characteristics and go over the literature. Awarness of the MRI features of capillary telangiectasias may help in defining the real incidence, clinical correlation and the risk of haemorrhagic complications of these vascular malformations.en_US
