dc.description.abstractMuseums are places that give life to history. The training in the museumhelps the individual to be Permanent by seeing, touching and learning. The aimof this study was to determine the self-efficacy beliefs of museum teachers interms of various variables. In this study, quantitative research method based screeningmethod was used. The study group was 291 pre-service teachers of the two state universitiesin the Central Anatolia Region are continuing their education in the departmentof History teaching and social studies in the Academic year 2017-2018. The studygroup was chosen on the basis of simpler and on method and volunteerism. In theprocess of collecting the research data, the personal information form which wascreated by the researcher and the Self-Efficacy Scale of Museum Education burdeveloped by Yeşilbursa and Uslu (2014) were used. The statistical analysis ofthe data obtained from the research was performed by using IBM SPSS 21.0program. Social Studies and History teacher candidates' belief in self-efficacytowards museum education; there was a significant difference in the variablesof gender, museum education, and the number of visit to the museum in the last year.en_US

Müzede gerçekleştirilen eğitim bireyin doğrudan, görerek,dokunarak öğrenmesini sağlayarak eğitimin kalıcı olmasına yardımcı olmaktadır.Bu araştırmanın genel amacı; sosyal bilgiler ve tarih öğretmen adaylarının müzeeğitimine yönelik özyeterlik inançlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısındanbelirlenmesidir. Araştırmada, nicel araştırma yöntemine dayalı tarama yöntemikullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; Gazi Üniversitesi Gazi EğitimFakültesi Türkçe ve Sosyal Bilimler Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dalı Tarih Eğitimi AnaBilim Dalı’nda ve Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi SosyalBilgiler Eğitimi Bilim Dalı’nda öğrenim görmekte olan 291 öğretmen adayıoluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubu, basit seçkisiz yöntemle ve gönüllük esasınabağlı olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin toplanması sürecinde,araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulmuş olan kişisel bilgi formu ile Yeşilbursa veUslu (2014) tarafından geliştirilen ‘Müze Eğitimine İlişkin Özyeterlik İnancıÖlçeği’ kullanılmıştır. Sosyal bilgiler ve tarih öğretmeni adaylarının müzeeğitimine yönelik özyeterlik inançlarında; cinsiyet, müze eğitimi dersi alıpalmama, son bir yılda müze ziyaretinde bulunma değişkenlerinde anlamlı farkolduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.en_US
