dc.description.abstractHealth criteria, developed in order to determine the health condition of the societies, and to evaluate the quality of the health services, are classified in many different ways such as disease, mortality and fertility rate, etc. In this study, the relationship between socio-economic indicators and the mortality rates with respect to age, which are accepted as the main health criteria of countries. population increase, are analysed with canonical correlation analysis for Turkey. s provinces.
