Özet
Bu çalışmada, Giorgio De Chirico’nun eserlerinde psikanalizin temel dinamiklerinden Sigmund Freud’un “tekinsizlik kavramı” ile bağlantılı olarak mekânsal tekinsizlik göstergeleri incelenmekte ve sanatta tekinsiz göstergelerin de psikoanalitik bir kavram olan tekinsizlik ile olan ilişkisi çözümlenmektedir. Psikanaliz kavramı, ilk defa Sigmund Freud tarafından kullanılmış olup, kişilerin davranışları bu uygulama kapsamında çözümlenerek, hem görünmeyenin görünür kılınmasını hem de bastırılan duyguların açığa çıkması hedeflenmiştir. “Tekinsiz” kavramı ise bu açıdan önem taşımaktadır. Bu kavram insanın varoluşundan beri bilinen ve yabancı olmadığımız, rahatsızlık veren bir duygu türünü ifade etmektedir. Freud’un bakış açısına göre tekinsiz kavramı bilinmeyen - var olmayan ilişkisi çerçevesinde sınırlandırılmayıp, düşünce sorunlarıyla ilgili belirsizliğe işaret etmektedir. Tekinsizlik olguları etrafında 20. yüzyılda mekan ve onunla ilişkili sosyopolitik sorunlar Sürrealizm akımını da etkilemiştir. Bu bağlamda, Giorgio De Chirico’nun eserlerindeki tekinsizlik kavramının etkileri incelenmektedir. Chirico'nun eserlerinde tespit edilen tekinsizlik göstergeleri dönemin sosyal sorunlarının simgesi olarak yorumlanabilmektedir. Çalışmada dönemin sosyal sorunlarının simgesi olarak görülen söz konusu tekinsizlik belirtileri ve göstergelerinin izi sürülmektedir. Amaç, tespit edilen göstergeleri sosyal ve politik açıdan çözümlemektir. Çalışma, elde edilecek bulgu ve analizlerin sanat literatürüne ve sanat tarihine sağlayacağı katkı açısından önemlidir.
n this study, the indicators of spatial uncanniness in Giorgio De Chirico's works are examined in relation to the concept of uncanniness in psychoanalysis, which is one of the fundamental dynamics of Sigmund Freud. The concept of psychoanalysis, first introduced by Sigmund Freud, aims to make the invisible visible and to bring forth repressed emotions within the scope of a study on human behavior. The concept of "uncanny" is significant in this regard. It is a type of emotion that is discomforting and yet familiar to us since the beginning of human existence. From Freud's perspective, the concept of uncanniness cannot be limited to nonexistent relationships and cannot be solely attributed to vague issues related to thoughts. When we examine the phenomena of uncanniness, we can see that the mutual influences of space and the socio-political problems associated with it have also influenced the Surrealism movement in the 20th century. In this study, we observe the effects of the concept of uncanniness in Giorgio De Chirico's works. The uncanny indicators identified in Chirico's works are seen as symbols of the social problems of the period. This study traces the traces of these uncanny signs and indicators, which have become symbols of the social problems of the period. The aim is to analyze these indicators from a social and political perspective. The study is important in terms of the contribution that the findings and analyses will provide to art literature and art history.
