| dc.description.abstract | İsrail kurulduğu günden beri Filistin İsrail meselesi bitmek bilmez bir çıkmaza girmiştir. Ana vatanından sürgün edilen ya da kendi topraklarında esir hayatı yaşamaya mahkûm edilen Filistinlilerin hikayesi toplumsal kimliğe de etki etmektedir. Mülteci konumuna düşürülenler gittikleri bölgelerdeki halkla bağlar geliştirmişlerdir ve Filistin'de kalanlar İsrail toplumu ile sarmal bir yaşam sürmek durumunda kalmışlardır. Toplumların kültürel üretimleri olan filmler kültürel kodları ile yaşananların sesi olması nedeniyle bölge için ayrı bir önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, İsrail kurulduğu günden bu zamana kadar yaşananlar ve ideolojik, sembolik olarak sinemaya yansımaları, İsrailli ve Filistinli yönetmenlerin gözünden beyaz perdeye nasıl taşındığı incelermiştir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak Filistin sinemasının anlatım biçimi ve işgalin sinemaya yansımaları açısından Hediye ve Vadedilen Cennet filmleri, İsrail'in kuruluşunu meşrulaştırmak için kahramanlıklarla bezenmiş kimlik oluşturma çabasını ve işgale olan bakış açısını anlayabilmek açısından Limon Ağacı ve Zafer'in Görüntüsü filmleri incelenmiştir. Seçilen filmler, yönetmenlerin kimliği, bakış açısı, teknik altyapısı, aldığı destekler ve kendi halkının yaşadıklarını içselleştirerek ortaya koymaları açısından değerlendirilerek, yönetmenlerin anavatanlarının hayati gerçekleri ile birlikte politik ve siyasi durumlarını açığa çıkarmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, işgalin her iki taraf içinde yaşamış olduğu ruh halinin sinemaya yansımaları ile belgelenmesidir. Bu çalışmada, Filistin İsrail meselesinin daha yakından anlaşılacağı, ideolojik ve sembolik sinemada alana katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Since the establishment of Israel, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has endured a seemingly never-ending deadlock. This conflict has profoundly impacted the social identity of both Palestinians exiled from their homeland and those living under captivity in their own land. Refugees who found new homes in other regions developed ties with their new communities, while those who remained in Palestine had to navigate life in close proximity to Israeli society. Films, as cultural expressions of societies, hold particular significance in this region as they serve as a powerful voice for experiences steeped in cultural codes. This study examines the events that have unfolded since the day Israel was founded and explores the ideological and symbolic reflections of this history on cinema. The research delves into how Israeli and Palestinian directors have depicted these events on the big screen through their unique perspectives. Utilizing content analysis as a qualitative research method, the films "The Gift and the Promised Paradise" are analyzed to understand the narrative style of Palestinian cinema and the representations of the occupation on the medium. Likewise, the films "Lemon Tree" and "The Image of Victory" are scrutinized to comprehend the efforts to establish a heroic identity to legitimize the existence of Israel and the occupation. The selected films are evaluated in terms of the directors' identities, perspectives, technical infrastructure, the support they receive, and their internalization of the experiences of their respective people. Through this analysis, the study reveals the directors' political stances, along with the stark realities of their homeland. The primary aim of this research is to document the atmosphere of the occupation experienced by both parties and examine its profound impacts on cinema. By doing so, the study aims to foster a deeper understanding of the Palestinian-Israeli issue and contribute to the realm of ideological and symbolic cinema. | en_US |
