| dc.description.abstract | 12 Mart 1971’de TSK bir muhtıra vererek hükümeti istifaya zorlamış; bu askerî muhtıranın ve ardından gelen sıkıyönetim rejiminin toplumda -özellikle de sol çevreler üzerinde- politik sosyal ve bireysel bakımdan sarsıcı etkileri olmuştur. Toplumu derinden etkileyen bu muhtıra ve muhtıranın artçı etkileri romanlara da yansımıştır. 12 Mart romanları, -yazarlarının çoğu gibi- devrimci düşünceyi savunan küçük burjuva kahramanları merkezinde 12 Mart döneminin birey ve toplum üzerindeki etkilerini anlatır. Bu etki, özellikle sol çevreler üzerinde bir yenilgi psikolojisi şeklinde tezahür etmiş ve küçük burjuva bireylerinin diğer kişisel bunalımları ile birleşerek travmatik bir hâl almıştır. Bu çalışmada 12 Mart Muhtırası’nın ve artçı etkilerinin romanlara yansımaları, 1970-2014 yılları arasında yayımlanan 40 roman üzerinden tematik ve kurgusal yönden incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu romanlarda merkezde küçük burjuva bireyinin problemleri ve farklı tonlarda da olsa 12 Mart yenilgisinin birey üzerindeki etkileri anlatılırken geri planda 12 Mart döneminin baskı ve şiddet ortamı, en arka planda ise bozuk toplumsal yapısı ile Türkiye’nin bir panoroma olarak yer aldığı görülmektedir. Muhtıra’nın devrimci çevreler ve toplum üzerindeki etkileri romanlarda merkezden farklı uzaklıklara koyulsa da her romanda küçük burjuva bireyinin bunalımlarına yer verilmiş ve bir anlamda bu bunalımların da sebebi olan arka plandaki bozuk toplumsal yapı gözler önüne serilerek asıl problemin bir “düzen sorunu” olduğuna dikkat çekilmek istenmiştir. | en_US |

| dc.description.abstract | On 12 March 1971 Turkish Armed Forces forced the government to resign by a memorandum; this military intervention and following martial law had some staggering political, social and personal effects on society, especially on leftist circles. This military intervention -which has had a deep influence on society- and its after-effects are also reflected in literature. March 12 novels, in the center of their petit bourgeois revolutionary protagonists -which are very similar to their writerstell the effects of March 12 period on individual and society. These effects emerged as a defeat among leftist circles and it gets a traumatic situation combining with the crisis of petit-bourgeoisie individuals. In this dissertation, reflections of March 12 intervention and its after-effects in Turkish novel are tried to be analysed thematically and structurally on the basis of 40 novels published between 1970 and 2014. In the novels it is observed that the problems of petit bourgeois individual and the effects of “March 12” defeat on individuals -even in different tones- occupy a central role while in the background there is oppression and violence atmosphere of “March 12” period and in the backmost background, panorama of Turkey with a distorted social structure. Even though the effects of March 12 memorandum on revolutionary circles and society have different scale of importance in the novels, in each novel the crisis of petit bourgeois individual is discussed to a large extent and by revealing the distorted social structure which causes the crisis of the petit bourgeouis individual, it is aimed to say: “The main problem is the system and the regime itself”. | en_US |
