dc.description.abstractA 52-year-old woman developed transient cortical blindness after coronary angiography. Its occurrence after coronary angiography is far less common. A possible mechanism of this complication may be contrast penetration of the blood-brain barrier with direct neurotoxicity to the occipital cortex.
