Abstract
Engelli çocuğa sahip ailelerin eğitim hizmeti ve hakkına ilişkin algısı ve bilgi düzeylerinin incelenmesini amaçlayan bu araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik desene göre tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen, Edirne ilinde bulunan 0-36 aylık engelli çocuğa sahip 10 aile, 36-72 aylık engelli çocuğa sahip 15 aile ve 72 aydan büyük engelli çocuğa sahip 15 aile olmak üzere toplam 40 aile oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, derinlemesine görüşme yöntemi ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi yapılarak yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda ailelerin eğitim hakkı ve eğitim hizmeti ile ilgili düşük düzeyde bilgi sahibi oldukları belirlenmiştir.
This research, which aims to examine the perceptions and knowledge levels of families with disabled children about education services and their rights, was designed according to a phenomenological pattern, one of the qualitative research methods. The study group of the research consists of 40 families in total, 10 families with 0-36 months old disabled children, 15 families with 36-72 months old disabled children and 15 families with disabled children older than 72 months in Edirne, selected by purposive sampling method. The data of the research were collected by using in-depth interview method and semi-structured interview form. The data obtained from the research were interpreted by making descriptive analysis and content analysis. As a result of the study, it was determined that the families had low level knowledge about the right to education and education service.
