dc.description.abstractMany models indicate new physics between leptons due to magnetic interactions which become strong at nuclear distances. This is a nonperturbative phenomenon. A new formulation of electrodynamics allows one to extrapolate it to short distances reproducing at the same time all the results of QED at atomic distances. Implications for particle physics are discussed.en_US
