Abstract
Sudan, tasavvufî yaşantının gündelik hayatta canlı ve dinamik yapıda olduğu bir ülkedir. Sudan’da İslam’ın intişar seyri incelendiğinde, sûfîlerin gayretlerinin önemi yadsınamaz. Bu bağlamda sünnî tasavvuf çizgisinde ilerlemiş olan Muhammed Osman el-Mîrganî de bölgede öne çıkan sûfilerden biridir. Kendisine nispet edilmekte olan Mîrganîlik/Hatmîlik, günümüzde ağırlıklı olarak Sudan özelinde devam ettirilmekte olup halkın birlik halinde tutulması ve insanları manevi açıdan tatmin etmesi bakımından önemli faaliyetlerde bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Ekberî çizgide bir sûfî olduğu kanısına varılan Muhammed Osman el-Mîrganî’nin hayatı incelenmiş ve eserlerinden yola çıkılarak tasavvufî görüşlerine değinilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra imkanlar ölçüsünde yolun Sudan toplumundaki güncel nüfuzu ve işlevselliğine de atıflarda bulunulmuştur.
Sudan is a country in which the ??f? way of living is vivid and dynamic in every aspect of daily life. When the spread of Islam in Sudan is examined, the efforts of s?f?s cannot be ignored. In this respect, Muhammad Uthman alM?rghan?, who has advanced in the orthodox ta?awwuf line, is one of the prominent ??f?s in the region. The M?rghaniyya/Khatmiyya which is attributed to him him, is being kept alive in Sudan, and undertakes some important activities to keep the Muslims in unity and to support people spiritually. In this study, the life of Muhammad Uthman al-Mirghani, who was assumed to be a s?f? following the Akbar? line, is examined and his views on ta?awwuf is explained via a general analysis through his works. Besides the influence and the functionality of the M?rghan?/Khatm? Order in Sudan is presented.
