Özet
Kariyerine Paris Konservatuvarı’nda başlayan Moyse, bütün hayatını öğrenci yetiştirmeye adamış; Avrupa, Güney ve Kuzey Amerika, Asya’da gerçekleştirdiği birçok turne, konser, ustalık kursu ve seminerlerle Fransız Flüt Ekolü’nün yayılmasını sağlamıştır. Marcel Moyse, öğretmenliği ve icracılığıyla birçok müzisyenin hayatına ışık olmuş, yazdığı metotlar günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. Moyse’in 24 Petites Etudes Melodiques avec Variations adlı metodu, flüt için yazılmış en işlevsel metotlar arasında yer almakta; çalışmalarını profesyonel seviyeye taşımış bütün flütistlerin eğitim sistemi içerisinde omurga görevi görmektedir. Müzikte ifade, ton, renk, artikülasyon gibi birçok kavramı geliştirmeye yardımcı olmakta; ölçünün güçlü vuruşu, doğru bağ, senkop ve apajatür tekniği, net artikülasyon ve müzikal anlatımın kazanılmasında flütistlere önemli faydalar sunmakta ve flüt repertuvarında karşılaşılan müzikal problemleri çözmekte fayda sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada Marcel Moyse’in yaşamı, yorumculuğu, öğretmenliği ele alınmış; Moyse’in kendisiyle ya da yetiştirdiği öğrencisi William Bennett ile çalışma fırsatı bulan değerli flütistlerin 24 Petites Etudes Melodiques avec Variations metoduna yönelik yaptıkları akademik çalışmalar incelenerek bu metodun amacı ve önemi araştırılmış, metodun ilk 10 etüdü incelenerek çalışma tekniklerine yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.
Moyse, who started his career at the Paris Conservatory, devoted his entire life to raising students; as well as spreading the French Flute School with many tours, concerts, masterclasses and seminars in Europe, South and North America and Asia. Marcel Moyse has enlightened the lives of many musicians with his teaching and performance. His methods have survived until this day. Moyse's method named 24 Petites Etudes Melodiques avec Variations is among the most functional methods written for flute. It serves as the backbone in the education system of all flutists who have taken their studies to a professional level. It helps to develop many concepts such as expression, tone, color, articulation in music, offers important benefits to flutists in gaining strong beat of meter, correct slur, syncopation and appoggiatura technique, clear articulation and musical expression, and provides benefits in solving musical problems encountered in the flute repertoire. In this research, Marcel Moyse’s life, his art and his teaching are discussed. Additionally, the academic studies on the 24 Petites Etudes Melodiques avec Variations method by valuable flutists who had the opportunity to work with Moyse himself or with his student, William Bennett, are examined, and the purpose and importance of this method are investigated, the first 10 etudes of the method are examined and suggestions for working techniques are presented.
