Üsküp’ün yeni yüzü : “Üsküp 2014” projesinin konsept tasarımı açısından incelenmesi

Özet
Tasarım ve Mimari insan hayatını güzelleştiren bir sanat olmakla birlikte, aynı zamanda ideolojik, sosyolojik ve siyasi çıktıları da olan çok boyutlu bir daldır. Nitekim bu durumu en iyi yansıtan projelerden biri de Üsküp 2014 Projesidir. Üsküp 2014 Projesi ile Makedon hükümeti, Makedon milletinin antik köklerine geri dönüşünü sanat, tasarım ve mimari ile bütünleştirmiş ve bu kapsamda kentin belirli noktalarına yaptırılan bina, anıt, heykel, köprü ve diğer kentsel unsurlar ile istenilen ideolojik düşünceler, kent kullanıcısına empoze edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bunu yaparken de mimariden sıklıkla yararlanılmış, Makedonya’nın güçlü dönemlerini ifade eden neoklasik üslup her yapıtta kendisini gösterir olmuştur. Bu nedenle tasarım ve mimarinin sosyoloji ve siyaset üzerindeki etkisi bu proje görsel kültür ve konsept tasarımı ile daha da ön plana çıkmıştır. Bu araştırma kapsamında Üsküp 2014 Projesi konsept tasarımı dahilinde yapılan ve yenilenen çeşitli bina, meydan, köprü, anıt, heykel gibi kent estetiğini oluşturan yapılar analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak Üsküp 2014 projesi, yukarıda belirtildiği gibi, projenin ana teması olan etnik benlik ve kent kimliğinin antik Makedon kimliği üzerinden inşası üzerinde şekillendiği görülmektedir. Bu kapsamda antik Makedon kimliğini işaret etmek amacıyla mimaride neoklasik akım baskın olarak ön plana çıkmıştır. Tarihi ve tarihi şahsiyetleri ön plana alan Proje, bu sayede tarihi Makedon kimliğini de kullanıcılarına yansıtmayı amaçlamıştır.
Although architecture is an art that enhances human life, it is also a multi- dimensional branch that has ideological, sociological and political outputs. As a matter of fact, one of the projects that best reflects this situation is the Skopje 2014 Project. With the Skopje 2014 Project, the Macedonian government has integrated the return of the Macedonian nation to its ancient roots with architecture, and in this context, the desired ideological ideas have been imposed on the city user with the buildings, monuments, sculptures, bridges and other urban elements built in certain points of the city. In doing so, architecture was frequently used, and the neoclassical style, which expresses Macedonia's strong periods, has shown itself in every work. For this reason, the impact of architecture on sociology and politics has become more prominent with this project. Within the scope of this research, various buildings, squares, bridges, monuments, sculptures, which were built and renovated within the Skopje 2014 Project, were analyzed. As a result, it is seen that the Skopje 2014 project is shaped on the construction of the ethnic identity and urban identity, which is the main theme of the project, through the ancient Macedonian identity. In this context, the neoclassical movement came to the fore in architecture in order to indicate the ancient Macedonian identity. Bringing historical and historical figures to the fore, the Project aimed to reflect the historical Macedonian identity to its users.
