| dc.description.abstract | Bu tez çalışmasının amacı, tarihsel süreç içinde Protestanlık ahlakının Batı toplumları içerisinde nasıl bir uygulamayla neşvünema bulduğu, günümüz dünyasına olan etki ve yansımaları incelenerek ortaya konulacaktır. Son yıllarda tüm dünyada hızlı bir ekonomik ve sosyal değişim süreci yaşanmaktadır. İdeoloji ve bilim felsefesi alanında yeni arayışları da zorlayan bu gelişmeler ve bunlara koşut arayışlar, aidiyet ve kimliklerin şekillenmesi konusunda önemli değişimlere, yeni kaynaklara zemin oluşturmaktadır. Yirminci yüzyılın son çeyreğinden itibaren insanların yaşamını kuşatan, dolayısıyla davranışlarına yön veren bir olguya dönüşerek, daha çok statünün ve kimliğin bir göstergesi haline gelmiştir. Çalışmamızda tüketim odaklı toplumların geçirdiği dönüşümü ortaya çıkarmak amaç edinilmiştir. Özellikle tüketim alışkanlıklarındaki değişimler ve bu değişimlerin zeminini oluşturan sosyal ve kültürel etkenler çalışılmakta, yeni söylemler ortaya atılmaktadır. Kaldı ki, yaşanan hızlı değişim karşısında kısa sürede yetersiz kalan bilgi toplumu, teknoloji toplumu gibi söylemler arasında tüketim toplumunun da yer alması, bu alana olan ilgiyi daha da arttırmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada söz konusu olan tüketim alışkanlıkları, tüketim süreçleri ve tüketim alışkanlıklarının ortaya çıkışındaki dinîsaiklere dikkat çekilerek, tüketime maruz bırakılan toplumların sosyo-kültürel çözülmedeki Protestan düşüncenin seküler ve profan etkileri araştırılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this thesis is to discuss how Protestant ethics finds joy in Western societies, and to express and share the present-dayworld. In recent years, a rapideconomic and social change has been experienced all over the world. These developments, which push new searches in the field of ideology and philosophy of science, and the parallelsearches for them, constitute the basis for important changes and new resources in the formation of belonging and identities. From the lastquarter of the twentieth century on wards, it has become a phenomenon that encom passes people's lives and, therefore, directs their behavior, becoming more an indicator of status and identity. In this study, weaimed to reveal the transformation of consumption-orientedsocieties. Especially the changes in consumption habits and the social and cultural factors forming the basis of these changes are studied and new discourses are put forward. Moreover, the fact that the consumer society is included in the discourses such as information society and technology society which is inadequate in a short time in the face of rapid change increases the interest in this field. Therefore, in this study, the secular and profane effects of Protestant thought in the socio-cultural disintegration of the societies exposed to consumption were investigated by drawing attention to the religious motives in the emergence of consumpti on habits, consumption processes and consumption habits. | en_US |
