Özet
Hemen her anlatı türünde eser vermiş olan Halide Edib Adıvar (1882-1964), Türk edebiyatının en önemli yazarlarından biridir. II. Meşrutiyet yıllarında yazmaya başlayan Halide Edib, Cumhuriyet'in ilanından sonra da yazma serüvenine kendini geliştirerek devam etmiştir. Türk insanı için birer dönüm noktası olan bu devirler Halide Edib'in eserleri vasıtasıyla gelecek kuşaklara taşınmış olmaktadır. Çalışmamızın esasını teşkil eden birinci bölümde Halide Edib'in Millî Mücadele'yi kurmaca eserlerinde nasıl ele aldığı üzerine odaklanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda Halide Edib'in bu süreci anlatırken kullandığı kimi ifadelerin onun tarafından bizzat seçilmiş olduğu görülür. Halide Edib'in bunu yaparken amaçladığı şey ise, mücadele sürecindeki duygu ve düşüncelerin gelecek kuşaklara taşınabilmesini sağlamaktır Çalışmanın ikinci bölümü olan Halide Edib'in Eserlerinde Cumhuriyet'te ise, Halide Edib'in Cumhuriyet'in ilanından sonra kaleme aldığı eserleri incelenmektedir. Bu tezde, Halide Edib'in Millî Mücadele'ye dair eserleri, onun Millî Mücadele sürecini ve savaşa yol açan etmenleri nasıl ele aldığını tespit etmek için incelenmiştir. Tezin son bölümünde ise, Cumhuriyet'le beraber ülkeye gelen yeni fikir ve değerlerin Halide Edib tarafından hangi noktalarda nasıl yorumlandığı irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır.
Abstract
Halide Edib Adıvar (1882-1964) who has produced literary works in nearly all kinds of narrative styles is one of the most important writers in Turkish literature. Halide Edib has started to write in the 2 nd. Constitutional years, after the declaration of Republic she has continued to write by improving herself. These periods which are the turning points for Turkish people are moved to the next generations by Halide Edib's literary works. In the first section, which forms the basis of our study focused Halide Edip discuss how the National Struggle in her works of fiction. In this context, it has been understood that Halide Edib used some of the expressions are found to be personally selected by her while she is describing this period. Halide Edib's purpose of doing that is to be carried on to future generations which are feelings and thoughts in the National Struggle period. In the second part of the study which is The Republic Period in the literary works of Halide Edib, is examined her literary works which are written after the declaration of the Turkish Republic. In this thesis, Halide Edib's literary works which are about The National Struggle has been examined to set how she explained this period and the reasons led The National Struggle. The last part of the thesis, the fictional texts of Halide Edib has dealt which have written after the declaration of the Turkish Republic. In addition to that, new ideas coming with the Turkish Republic have tried to examined by her literary works that how they commented by Halide Edib in which parts of them.
