The steady fully developed laminar flow and heat transfer of an electrically conducting viscous fluid between two parallel plates heated with a constant heat flux is investigated analytically in the presence of a transverse magnetic field. The momentum and energy equations are solved under the first order boundary conditions of slip velocity and temperature jump. The effects of the Knudsen number, Brinkman number and Hartmann number on the velocity and temperature distribution and heat transfer characteristics are discussed. © 2013 TIBTD Printed in Turkey.en_US
