| dc.description.abstract | Günümüzde yoğun iş hayatı, ekonomik sıkıntılar, çevresel koşullar, zaman yetersizliği gibi nedenlerden dolayı bireylerin kültür, spor, müzik vb. gibi etkinlik türlerine katılmaları zorlaşmaktadır. Bu tez çalışması, bireylerin etkinliklere katılımını belirleyen faktörlerin ortaya konulmasını ve bunların neden sonuç ilişkilerinin açıklanmasını amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada kültürel etkinliklerin daha iyi anlaşılması adına kültür kavramı tanıtılarak kültür kavramının günümüze kadar gelen etkileri ve Edirne' nin kültürel yapısı üzerinde durulmuştur. Bunun yanında etkinlik kavramının ortaya çıkışı, tarihsel gelişimi, farklı bakış açılarına göre yapılan tanımları, çeşitli etkinlik türleri ve etkinlik alanları incelenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında, Edirne ilinde yaşayan kişilerin demografik ve sosyo-ekonomik profilini, etkinliklere katılma sıklıklarını, katılma veya katılmama nedenlerini belirleyen faktörleri ortaya çıkarmak için bir anket formu hazırlanmıştır. Sonuçlar SPSS 14.0 paket programında frekans dağılımları, faktör analizi, Mann Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis testi, t-testi ve Anova analizleri kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, demografik değişkenlerin, faktör analizi sonucu elde edilen etkinliklerin bıraktığı etki, etkinliklere yeterince katılmama nedenleri, etkinlikleri tercih etme nedenleri ve etkinliklere yönlendiren sebeplere ilişkin boyutlar üzerinde etkili olduğu olduğu görülmüştür. | dc.description.abstract | Today it is getting difficult to take part in social events such as cultural, sports, musical and so on because of busy working life, economic distress, environmental conditions and lack of time for individuals. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the factors which determine persons? participation in events and to explain their cause effect relationships. In the study, the concept of culture is introduced on behalf of a better understanding of the cultural activities and at the same time it is focused on the effects of the concept of culture from the past to the present and also cultural structure of Edirne. Besides, the emergence of the concept of events, historical development, various definitions according to different perspectives, types of events, and various activity areas of events are analyzed. Within the scope of the survey, a questionnaire has been designed to reveal demographic and socio-economic profile of people living in the province of Edirne, the frequency of participation in events, factors that determine the causes of participation. Results have been obtained by using SPSS 13.0 package programme, factor analysis, Mann Whitney U tests, Kruskal Wallis Tests, t-tests and ANOVA analysis.
