Özet
Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging is a radiological subspecialty about bones, joints, and associated soft tissues. In recent years, increasing technological advances, especially 7 T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), have enabled MSK imaging with the introduction of powerful imaging methods that provide high-resolution images. In addition to the morphological imaging, quantitative MR methods such as T2, T2 *, T1p mapping, spectroscopy, as well as arthrographic examinations in joint imaging and new contrast agents (CAs), which offer exciting opportunities in diagnosis, continue to develop. In the millions of radiological imaging studies in the World, MRI, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasonography (US) technology, as well as the effective use of CAs, are constantly discussed and updated. Herein, the effective use of CAs and new developments in MSK imaging were evaluated. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021
