| dc.description.abstract | 1930’lar Türkiye’de büyük bir değişimin yaşandığı yıllar olarak tarihe geçmiştir. Bahsedilen değişim hareketi, sosyal hayatın her alanında olduğu gibi tarihte de gerçekleşti. Yeni kurulmuş olan genç Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ve devletin ideologları tarihe çok büyük önem atfettiler. Bunu yaparken de başlıca amaçları,gerçekleştirdikleri inkılapları doğrulayacak, o inkılaplara temel oluşturacak, tarihi dayanaklar sunan bir tarih yazımı geliştirmek oldu. İnkılap hareketini geliştiren kadronun inkılaplara tarihin içinden payandalar bulmak kadar, Türk milli kimliği etrafında birleşilmesini öngördüğü için, ortaya daha milliyetçi ve Türk adı etrafında şekillenen bir tarih kurgusu da çıktı. Türk tarihinin Osmanlı ve İslami dönemleri öncesini ön plana çıkartmak, ortaya atılan tarih tezlerinin başlıca hedefi oldu. Bu yöntem izlenirken Avrupa Hunları hakkında neler yazıldığı, Avrupa Hun tarihinin Türk Tarih Tezi içerisinde nereye oturtulabileceği ve değeri, tarihin bir araç olarak imgeleri beslemesi ve bu imgelerin günlük hayatta üstlenebilecekleri rollerin 30’lu yıllar için ne oldukları soruları, tezin başlıca problemini oluşturmaktadır. | en_US |

| dc.description.abstract | 1930s made history as a major change years in Turkey. This transformation movement took place also in history as in all areas of social life. Young Turkish Republic newly established and the ideologues of state attributed great importance to history. Its principal aims in doing so were to verify the reforms realized and to develop a historiography offering historical grounds in order to form basis for those revolutions. The cadre that improved the revolutionary movement found historical pillars from the history. So as to foresee the unity around Turkish national identity, it emerged more nationalist and historical fiction shaping about the Turkish name. The main target of history thesis became the featuring the pre-Ottoman and Islamic periods of Turkish history. By viewing this method, the main problems of thesis are that what were written about European Huns, that where could be placed to European Hun history in Turkish History Thesis and its value, that history as a means supplies the images and that the questions about those images undertaking roles in the daily life of 1930s years. | en_US |
