dc.description.abstractReverse logistics can be defined as the processes of correct collection, sorting, classification, and processing of products that are at the end of their useful life for re-evaluation, inclusion in production, or disposal from the consumer to the manufacturer, the retailer, or their legal counterparts. Reverse logistics has an important place in the concept of sustainability. Reverse logistics is an indispensable partner for sustainability, which expresses the efforts to leave a more livable environment for future generations. The primary purpose of medical waste logistics, which has a special place among reverse logistics activities, is to collect, transport, and dispose of waste safely and economically without harming the environment and public health. Medical wastes pose a severe risk to the hospital and hospital environment and threaten public health and the entire environment. All medical wastes that are not properly collected and subjected to process control affect the rate of spread of diseases. Reverse logistics has an important place in the concept of sustainability.
